Although they are some of the most highly trained special forces, they have a very disfunctional organization from the top down. I don't think they are all to blame. We have been at war for over 20 years and they are still being deployed on the most dangerous missions. who wouldn't be a little messed up psychologically. We invest so much in teaching them how to kill but there should also be as much investment to keeping them grounded and mentally healthy to the best of their ability. The suicide rate in the military in general and the especially the special warfare is especially worrisome and needs to be addressed rather than be swept under the rug.
