Rep. Jason Crow, a Colorado Democrat, had a question for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth: What do you actually know about the man you made your Pentagon advisor? Hegseth didn’t have many answers, and the clip of their heated exchange is going viral.

The advisor was Hegseth’s friend and personal attorney, Tim Parlatore, who defended the former Fox News host from allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman in a hotel room in Monterey, California, in 2017. In addition to serving as Hegseth’s special advisor, Parlatore was recommissioned as a commander in the Navy Reserves and works in the Pentagon a few hours a week on legal issues when he is not serving as a civilian attorney.
